Description
Constructed in 1967, the Brodie Fine Arts building is named in honor of William A. Brodie, a Geneseo attorney whose clients included various members of the Wadsworth family. Brodie was one of several local leaders whose efforts were instrumental in getting a Normal School located in Geneseo. The Fine Arts Building (later named Brodie) was formally dedicated in May 1968. It was designed by architect Edgar Tafel, one-time apprentice to Frank Lloyd Wright.
