Description
The Honorable George D. Newton, a member of the College Council, presided at the naming of the Milne Library . He was a local attorney who served as Geneseo Justice of the Peace, Livingston County District Attorney, State Supreme Court Justice (beginning in 1962 and apparently until 1965), and member and president of the Board of Visitors and College Council beginning in 1942.
