Laurel McIntyre announces the date as Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1996. The date was actually November 28. Laurel was a student in Jim Kimball's class at SUNY Geneseo. The interview is Leonard Knapp, Laurel McIntyre's maternal grandfather, recalling square dances in the souther Finger Lakes/Watkins Glen area, recorded when he was 80 years old. It includes commentary on both Eastern and Western style square dancing.
