Photograph of Milne Library at SUNY Geneseo, interior. View of top floor. Pictured are several students working indepdently at tables or carrels. The current Milne Library building was constructed in 1967 and is named in honor of Geneseo Normal School's first two principals: Dr. William J. Milne, who served from 1871 to 1889; and his brother, Dr. John M. Milne, who served from 1889 to 1905. in 2020, following asbestos contamination, the building was refurbished and reopened in the Fall of 2024.
