Submission Guidelines for Geneseo Authors

About Geneseo Authors and Milne Library Publishing

Milne Publishing publishes open access and openly licensed works by SUNY Geneseo faculty, staff, and alumni, and open textbooks by SUNY faculty. This involves the acquisition, peer review, editing, typesetting, and distribution of the texts in electronic and print formats.

Selection

Projects are reviewed for selection via a proposal and evaluated by the Milne Publishing Editorial Team, a rotating group of SUNY Geneseo staff, librarians, and faculty. Interested authors can contact Allison Brown, Digital Publishing Services Manager at browna@geneseo.edu for more information.

Review

Authors are asked to have any research or scholarly work reviewed prior to publication by at least two qualified peers or subject matter experts. Milne Publishing conducts attributed and open peer reviews.

Open Access Statement

All Milne Publishing titles are available as open access publications, meaning users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the texts, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
