0:00-10:47: An interview with Effie Marieta Pritchard (1907-1991), mother of Linda Kimball (sister-in-law to Jim), and Chuck and Mary Jane Woolsey, in Harpursville, NY. Marieta grew up in Susquehanna County PA; they later moved to Binghamton. Her references are to growing up in PA, Hartford & South Gibson. The Woolsey's lived in Conklin NY, south of Binghamton. in Conklin NY. They talk about square dancing in the region. At 6:25 Jim Kimball gives a summary of the interview that is not recorded on the tape, including a story about a dance in Parrish, NY, where the crowd left when the band played a polka. 44:25-End: most or all of the same recording as JKC_Music-Dance_Pritchard_19900824, which is Bill Proper on fiddle, recorded informally.
