Description

Photograph of construction of Mary Jemison Dining Hall at SUNY Geneseo, interior. View of worker working at western exit with what seems to be a large puddle of water behind him. Written on back, among other small notes: "Mary Jemison Dining Hall interior. Opened 1960, it is named in honor of Mary Jemison (1742-1833) a Scots-Irish colonial woman who was adopted into a Seneca family as a young girl. She later became known as "White Woman of the Genesee."
