Abstract

In this discussion-based class, learners will: 1) understand the paths information takes from the lab bench or the field to news headlines, 2), reflect upon how misinformation and disinformation impact society, 3) develop individual strategies for critical media consumption, and 4) practice productive communication about science news, integrating perspectives from multiple disciplines. Bring your ideas, let's strategize!
