SUNY Geneseo’s Department of Political Science and International Relations is proud to produce The Political Realm, showcasing some of the exceptional work done by both political science and international relations majors, at SUNY Geneseo and beyond.

The Jeff Clarke Endowment for Political Science and Economics provides the financial support that permits publication of this journal. Mr. Clarke graduated from Geneseo in 1983 and has been an integral supporter of student and faculty research as well as a few other valuable department activities. We are grateful to Mr. Clarke and Suzette Clarke for their continuing support.

A special thanks is due to Pauleen Sherman, the department’s administrative assistant, who worked for many years to compile the article manuscripts for publication in the journal.
